Unit of Basic Nursing |
Based on the understanding of physical, psychological, social and cultural aspects of a healthy person, you will acquire the basic skills and knowledge of nursing care for people at all stages of health. |

Unit of Adult Nursing |
Unit of Adult Nursing is involved in research and education on nursing care and livelihood support for patients in critical and perioperative condition, patients who are required to control and live with long-term illness or disability, patients in need of palliative care, and families of patients. |

Unit of Geriatric Nursing |
Unit of Geriatric Nursing is involved in research and education in order to promote well-being for vulnerable elderly people. The focus is on evidence-based quality nursing care for managing multiple chronic conditions, preventing further disabilities, and maintaining independence and quality of life as much as possible in both institutionalized and community-dwelling frail older adults. |

Unit of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing |
At Psychiatric and mental health nursing, in order to assist you to understand the various aspects of psychiatric disorders, you will learn through actually talking with patients and watching movies and documentaries on psychiatric disorders. We also utilize a "mind map" as shown below, and roll play acting to train communication skills. By acquiring knowledge not only about diseases and disorders, but also by reflecting upon yourself, you will have a deeper understanding of a person as a psycho-social being. In the activity of "group care for children", we provide you the opportunity to work as a volunteer, and learn through real life experience. |

Unit of Home Care Nursing |
Unit of Home Care Nursing is involved in research on home-based palliative care, multi-professional coordination and motivations of home-visiting nurses. Ultimately, we seek to improve the QOL of patients with disabilities who live at their home, and their families, by learning and understanding patient-centered nursing care and livelihood support that can assist patients maintain autonomy, and multi-professional support to enable smooth transition from hospital- to home-based care. |

You will acquire basic understanding of growth and development stages of children, and through care to protect and promote their health, be involved with children and their families.

You will acquire understanding about various health issues across the different stages of a woman's lifecycle, and be involved with promoting self-care and other health problems, including those of her family members. |

Unit of Public Health Nursing |
We conduct research and education from both global and local (“glocal”) perspective on health. We concern with for example how global and local issues interact, and how multilateral networks can be established so that nursing may contribute to maintaining and improving health of people.
Unit of Public Health Nursing comprises of community nursing and global nursing.
